House Notes

How the chatter works in this house.

What this place is

The chimerical gallery is where I post my art, notes, ideas... everything. And you are invited into my studio to hang out with me, as I have for decades now!

The Binding Jaguar Rule

...comes to us from the Ai-Naidar: elev - benefit of the doubt. Assume good faith, of the artist and the work and one another. I'm honored to have so many fans with divergent beliefs and consider that a gift and an opportunity, not a problem. So long as there is respect for the alien (and we are all aliens to one another, betimes), I am content.

Otherwise the same sorts of stuff you've come to expect from me: no profanity, keep it safe for work and young children, etc.

I reserve the right to prune comments that don't fit the jaguar code. But if you think I misinterpreted you, let me know.

How it works

You're welcome to opine once I've written a comment (if you want to opine and there's no comment, hit the 'request artist commentary' button!). Your comments are always signed. So are mine!

You can always edit your comments unless I've responded to you, then they lock so we can preserve the original context of the interplay. But you can always delete your comments, even if I've answered them. If you choose to delete your account, you can decide whether to delete all your comments or leave them behind as anonymous gifts; if you choose the latter, they will be signed 'a departed member.'

Your comments can only be read by logged in users, not guests.

Accolades

I might bestow these on comments when I am moved! A steel trap comment — refers to something I've forgetten; the archivist comment — links things throughout the chronology; and brings insight — is a comment worth considering at length...!

It's been a long time

Let's come home away from the noise and storm of the internet.
