Just look at those two meanings. *sigh* Anyway, from French, of course, literally “beautiful gesture.” From the 1900s, when it seems likely the book Beau Geste by Christopher Wren, made it popular.

I get it! As I sort of had the feeling I would once I started playing with it. So I have boards that have excised my ‘to buy’ and ‘food and recipes’ sections, a separate board for book covers, and the fan art and illustration one, which has been a real trip. Come look! …is wandering around talking about how she’s not done with the “Jesus box,” which I have discovered is the box with the nativity scene in it. Okay. Makes sense! The Jesus box! I have to imagine this is like the opposite of Pandora’s box. Good things come out the Jesus box, if used wisely!
