So this is day 5 of the Kickstarter, and we’ve got 25 days to go. This week:
1. We hit our project goal of $1500, unlocking the 26th Aphorism prize; and
2. We hit the mini-goal of $2000, unlocking the meta-conversation today.
Currently, we are $225 short of the audiobook goal! At that $2500 mark, everyone will get to read “That Kiss,” the 22-page “cut scene” wherein Ajan lectures us about Ai-Naidari erotic vocabulary! I know you want to read it… >.>
I don’t push the Kickstarter on weekends; I need rest, and so do you. Once Monday comes ’round again, I’ll see where we’re at and we can hit the pavement running.
Do you want to help, and need ideas how? These things make a difference:
1. Share the link in email, on Facebook/Google+, on Twitter, or in your favorite forums. I see the referrers, I know they work!
2. Write up a post about the novel and why it mattered to you, with a link to the Kickstarter somewhere in it.
3. If you know/are part of a book group, a book blog, or a genre group, ask them to check out the book (or talk about it there yourself).
4. If you have a blog yourself and want to host me in an interview/guest blog format, I’m all ears… let’s talk!
Every little bit counts! We’ve got 25 days to go and I’d really like for this one to not only pay for the audiobook, but maybe buy the business a new computer; I haven’t bought myself a new computer in seven? Eight? Years? I can’t recall. I’m making do right now with an old laptop and I’d really like to move to a single platform that can handle the Livestream software and image-editing programs. :)
