–because this is the seriously busy week, leading up to my first day of work Friday.
First off, the cookies! Yesterday we arranged for the shipment of 72 boxes of cookies to soldiers! Thanks to you all, not only do soldiers get cookies, but my daughter gets not one, but two patches: one for selling, and one I didn’t notice until last night for securing at least 6 (lol) boxes of cookies for charity. I am glad they have a patch for the charitable work, though as Spouse noticed dryly you only need a tenth the cookies to qualify, compared to selling them.
Moving on, did you miss yesterday’s comic? It is full of drama! Go look!

I should note here that this week January ends and with it the free Friday comics. After that Friday Three Jaguars comics will go up if I receive donations. You can tip me on that site! Or better yet, tell your friends and let them help. :)
Some stellar reviews lately:
• Aldersprig’s of From Spark to Finish: Running Your Kickstarter Campaign
• Orion’s of A Rosary of Stones and Thorns
• Rainstardragon’s review of “Stormfront”
Based on your comments on my “How do I help new readers” post, I’ve started adjusting the Where do I start page and tried adding a page for a setting. Are they helpful? Should I keep going? Have a look and tell me what you think!
• New Improved “Where Do I Start?” page
• New Setting Page: The Jokka
Thanks to all of you who reported more meta-data problems. I am slowly at work on those issues, but updating meta-data, it turns out, is a laborious process. Expect to see improvements over the next few months, though.
And that’s it for now. I am spending most of my days on the road this week, buying work clothes, dropping off school applications, doing HR paperwork, doing car maintenance, etc. Once I settle back into a routine, though, the daily post should return. Until then, our regular content is scheduled! Today’s Earthrise went up. Tomorrow we get comics and an audiobook launch. Thursday Earthrise again, providing the tips show up, and Friday’s Three Jaguars comic was paid for!
Once again, thank you all for your generosity in sending soldiers cookies, and for your reviews and spreading the word about my work. Getting a job doesn’t mean I’m quitting this one! Your money will still go to buying lunch for me and Daughter and paying her schooling. I’ll just have more spare money to pay for house repairs (woe!) and happily this year, to commission some artists and freelancers to work with me on the books.
Onward!

Ooooooh. I like the new “Where to start page” page! It doesn’t look like you changed a lot about it, but shiiiiiny links are shiny and easy to get to! <3 It might be worth fiddling with the location and look of the setting-page link a little more because I read over it a couple of times before realising it was there. ^-^; That said, I really appreciate the setting page. The reading order is an especially great boon as it gives me an incredibly easy-to-scan list of what order to read the stories in and which stories are available. It can be pretty easy to lose sight of the reading order with a longer series, so being able to refer to a plain list (with easy-access to-buy links!) is incredibly helpful in deciding what to read next. To me at least, so I'd imagine it'll be useful to others as well. ^-^; I hope that the comment helps and that you‘re happy with the pages too!
Yay on getting 72 boxes of cookies to the soldiers! <3 Yay on your daughter getting a patch for charitable work as well! Yay on amazing reviews! Good luck and much enjoyment with the new job when you start it!
